Is this the correct form?

You are seeking recognition of a training course other than an AMDRAS Certificate of Training in order to be eligible for assessment under the AMDRAS Standards.

• If you have completed an AMDRAS Certificate of Training COT with another training provider, it is automatically recognised.
• If you have evidence of completing a course of training that you believe meets the requirements of the Alternative Pathways Protocols you can complete this form and upload the required evidence.

Information You need to Provide 

Eligibility Verification 

• Prior Training Details - 
  • Description of the previous training course - title, provider, dates
  • Mode of Delivery - online, in-person, blended
  • Total Hours of Training - should be equivalent to 45 hours with at least 13.5 hours of simulations
  • Number of simulated mediations - dates and your role in 9 complete role plays 
• Trainer Credentials - 
  • Names and qualifications of the course trainers
  • Evidence that the trainers meet AMDRAS expectations for qualified trainers - experience in mediation and training mediation
• Training Context - 
  • Country and Institution where the training was conducted
  • Whether the training was part of a VET or Higher Education qualification (in Australia)

Supporting Documentation

• Certificates, Transcripts or Completion Letters 
• Evidence of simulation and role play dates 
• Trainers CV or bios 
• Explanation of how the training aligns with AMDRAS content and structure

Meets the requirements

• If the training you've completed meets the requirements a Certificate of Training (Alternative Pathway) will be issued.

Does not meet the requirements

• If you do not meet the requirements for the Certificate of Training (COT) Alternative Pathway we will review whether a bridging course is appropriate and provide you with information about the requirements and costs.  This will depend on your application and varies on a case by case basis.  

Fees

• The current fee for evaluation of the application is $50 
• If your training can not be recognised and you have to complete the full Certificate of Training the current fee is $700 - AMDRAS Training - Complete Your Certificate of Training with Mediation Institute
• If Additional Training, Role Plays or Mentoring is required we'll provide a full quotation.
